    At Grupo Ruiz we are leaders in electromobility. Proof of this is that we have the largest electric fleet of all the private operators in Spain.

    We develop the entire process required for the deployment of electric vehicles. From the engineering of power requirements and the necessary infrastructure, to the supply through electric chargers.

Green hydrogen

  • At Grupo Ruiz, our vision is to revolutionise mobility in Madrid through one of Spain’s most ambitious green hydrogen production and distribution initiatives: Inspira Madrid.

  • Green hydrogen is sourced solely from renewable energy, making it a 100% sustainable fuel. It generates steam instead of greenhouse gases.

  • Green hydrogen in mobility allows for greater autonomy, enabling us to continue decarbonising mobility in areas where batteries cannot reach.

  • We promote the private use of green hydrogen through the establishment of public refuelling stations.

Natural gas

  • In 1996, we were pioneers in the implantation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Spain. Today, we have 353 CNG buses distributed across 6 towns.

  • We have enabled the use of biomethane as fuel for our fleet, supporting sustainable mobility and a circular economy.

  • It reduces noise pollution in cities by 50%.

  • Nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions, which act as a greenhouse gas, are significantly reduced. NOx is 300 times more potent at warming the planet than CO2.

    Hybrid buses emit less carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particles than traditional buses thanks to their ability to operate in electric mode for part of the journey.

    By using electric mode in urban areas, these vehicles significantly reduce pollution and noise.

    The internal combustion engine experiences less wear because it does not operate continuously, extending its lifespan.
